Constrained Maximum-Utility Rate Optimization for Unicast-Based Streaming Applications Using Differentiated Multipaths

چکیده

The multipath-based method can effectively improve the video streaming quality. However, it suffers a limitation on realistic deployment and needs global optimization to network accommodation capability. In this article, we study novel rate solution for unicast-based applications. proposed employs differentiated multipath delivery model, which uses main path built at layer multiple auxiliary paths application layer. Because of layer-based implementation, overcome aforementioned deployment. Based problem, strives an effective tradeoff among quality, capability stability. studied problem is complicated, solve approximately using approximate algorithm convex optimization-based technique.
